Ways To Get Involved

  1. Learn - Learning the signs of trafficking is the first step. 
  2. Educate- Take a training on Human Trafficking.
  3. Volunteer- Volunteer and support anti-trafficking organizations in your area.
  4. Be an informed consumer- Find out if the items you  purchase for your everyday life, such as food & clothing, are ethically sourced. ResponsibleSourcingTool.org 
  5. Social Media -  Use your social media platforms to raise awareness and use hashtags: #Endit #endtrafficking #Freedomfirst.
  6. Faith Communities-Host awareness events and community forums with anti-trafficking leaders or collectively support a local victim service provider.

Hold a Company fundraiser.

Most anti-trafficking organizations operate on limited budgets,raising money can help them immensely. Fundraisers could include holding an event and showing a documentary on Human Trafficking or hosting a drive, or a run.

Whatever you choose, Once you decide on how you’ll fundraise, choose an organization. Make sure your fundraising efforts and dollars are benefiting reputable anti-trafficking organizations that will actually make a difference.
